I see no foliage here, just plants. There appears to be a misconception that plants are a type of foliage, which is wrong, foliage is made of plastic etc, and made to be wrapped around something, like car wrap foliage or bale foliage for silage bales.
This must one of those UK English terms like boot or flat that have an entirely different meaning in US English?
Foliage is an architectural ornament or the leaves of plants.
