Should it cost $250,000 a month to auto-irrigate a 360 acre field?
Saw there have been a couple of updates to this mod so gave it another shot. Went to irrigate a field with a sprayer. Pressed B to start spraying – all good. Pressed B to stop spraying – lost all keyboard control, had to Ctrl-Alt-Del out of the game. Uninstall (again). Too bad, if this mod worked well it would be the answer to my prayers for FS25.
(PS: Before anyone says ‘mod conflict’, nope, repeatable problem without any other mods activated.)
I don’t have that problem at all, just for your info i use over 1000 mods! I have 6 different saves that i play on. No error in my game log.
Hmm, in the log it says: “Error: Running LUA method ‘update’.
dataS/scripts/sounds/SoundManager.lua:1179: attempt to index boolean with ‘soundSample'”. I did check my drivers – all up to date…

i put this on a dedicated and it runs great. until you use a sprayer. then the server crashes and in the log file it says something about the sound manager not being able to update
A bit relieved to note it’s not just me having this issue – hope it gets sorted out.
Love most of the mod. But the wheel changes make it feel like you’re *always* driving on ice. Also the moisture seems to cause problems, on Riverbend almost every field suffers from withering due to moisture every year for me :/ Could really do with at least a way to supplement moisture when it’s low.
Love the rest of the mod though
Split this mod into 2, I want only the weather to be more realistic (like stop hailing for over 5h), I don’t want it to mess with my fields or yields more than if a disaster occurs

Not quite sure what you’ve changed in the update, but my game is now not loading correctly on any map! Everything was fie before the update. Maybe a mod clash as other people seem to have it working, but I’m using the same mods as I was before the update.
Price for two days of irrigation on the base game Riverbed map, (I play on 5 days a month) months was two million. This is unacceptable.
This is causing trailers not to tip… only Auger wagons are working. Removed your mod and tipping works again…
You need to change the control for irrigation and it will fix that.

Can’t open any menus for fine tuning. Would be nice to customize the weather a bit. Also, the initial control for irrigation is set to I and it buggers the ability for trucks to dump their loads.

A few observations: Playing 3-day months, I am finding the grass moisture never rises to anything near the optimal range, despite 1-2 rain showers almost every day. The initial moisture level was good for the initial wheat harvest, but through Sep-Oct it has remained well below optimal despite a good amount of rain. Also notice the moisture level is different on each field (not sayin that is bad, just wondering if intended?)
can you water crops to help with moisture??
i have a question, we play with the mod on the server, and every player see another moisture. can that be fixt. and also the field said a amount and we get a lot less how is that possible
is this mod compatible in mp. it seem to work for a time but now no snow and temps not dropping. alo the moisure info now not showing. is there any known mod conflicts?
love the mod, one slight problem, had a blizzard in february, and skipped time all the way thru june and all the snow was still on the ground. i think it may be bugged.
Hmm, it could well be the snow bug that has been reported repeatedly on the main hub forum.
I have seen this as well…for now, I have disabled snow in-game.
Can you remove the moisture effect? really like the mod but would rather not have this part.
It’s a nice feature, that brings a little realism..I did though increase my weekly time scale to 7 days a month. This helps with days that are a little “wet” when you cannot do anything other than prep fields. Looking at predicted weather changes rather counts now in planning
its part of real weather that real farmer face.
I second that. Ultimately it end up with me needing to set more days in the month and then just set fast time until weather is better. Otherwise i will get half of the crops i get without this mod. Spending a week to wait until crops are dry enough is realistic, but it’s not good game play.
Instant like from me….Works seriously well in game. Case in point because of moisture effect was unable to combine canola early morning, I had to fast forward time while watching the moisture rise till it was somewhat ready. Rain IS forecast and I have about a 2 hour window to get it off the ground.
This with Precision farming will be such a great addition to this game…KUDOS
Will Precision Farming be a thing in FS25?
According to Giants Modhub web page, it’s scheduled for 2nd quarter this year…So yes it’s going to be a reality.
