This is great car in itself – better as a stock or some barely seen pro-touring mods because it has always looked sharp, though.
As for the model;
there is no engine under pop-up hood
on stock wheels there are waaay too much inside the wheel bells. Right rear wheel is badly missaligned (!)
no reflex’ in the mirrors
even front window is tinted – it can barely be seen inside of the cockpit
no t-tops and no convertible option
rear lights lacking meshy grid texture, front lights also have simillar details in it
no badges ‘camaro’ on front air splitter and ‘IROC-Z’s’ on ground sideskirts (just behind front wheels)
fake black matte rear window frame which is all glass in real car and should be shiny as the rest of window panel
generally various black elements of the body should have more glossy look eg. front light louvers, rear light frame with bevels that run all through the rear lights,
stock wheels had two-tone surface antracite or raw raw with polished 5-rim spokes
metallic option colours look vapid (tested on bright blue metallic)
props for the realistic not overkill exhaust pipes
This year model had two V-8 TPI units: 305ci and 350ci.
There were optional ground effect two-tone horizontal stipes all around the car available especially for the IROC-Z’s.
Just a few cents from f-body enthusiast.
Thanks for the mod – tumbs up for kicking off the ball, just keep it updated!
