is this mod even good?
It says 89 in the file type. No idea how you could have mislabeled this mod despite this. It’s a 1988 – 1994 Chevy. The file isn’t the truck in the images, but the truck isn’t from 2000. It’s also a 1988 – 1994.

wrong i had a k3500 irl that was this style and the vin said 2000 this body style ran from 88-2000 for carry over year on hd trucks and 2500/3500
You’re actually wrong. The interior changed in 1995, smarty pants. If you had this style, you’d know it has a rounder, smoother dash and a different style of seats. which you can see in the photo it is the 1988 – 94 seats. They continued to sell the old square body Chevy, and didn’t move over fully after the last year of this body style which was in 1998. 2500s were also sold in the newer body style. You could buy 1500s and 2500s in the older style, but they were sold as “Silverado Classics” 3500s weren’t sold in the newer body style until 2001. Which is irrelevant, because again, due to the interior it has to be a 1988 – 1994.
was talking about the body style itself not interior and i swapped the interior in mine to the boxey looking dash and older style seats i wanted a red interior to go with my black truck since after a certin year they stopped with custom color interiors.
they did the same with the gmt800 carry overs when the gmt900 came out in 07
and where dubbed silverado classic until that years parts where used up.

As I explained above. While that body style did come in the 2000’s with the “Sierra and Silverado Classic” this is not that. If you look at the headrest, it’s the 1988-1994 interior, and therefore cannot be a 2000.
