Toggle Gear Shift Modes V1.0

Take full control of your transmission with a single key press!

This is an unofficial quality-of-life edit of the original Toggle Gear Shift Mode mod by Jansgi for Farming Simulator 25.

The original mod allowed players to quickly switch between Automatic and Manual + Clutch. This edit expands that functionality by allowing you to cycle through all three available transmission modes without opening the game settings menu.

Why Use This Mod?

Different vehicles feel better with different transmission modes.

Instead of opening the Settings menu every time you switch vehicles, simply press your assigned toggle key and continue driving.

Whether you’re hauling with a modern truck, cruising in a classic pickup, or working the fields in an older tractor, switching transmission modes is now quick, simple, and immersive.

The default key can be changed at any time through the in-game Controls menu.

Installation
Download the ZIP file.
Copy the ZIP file into your mods folder.
Launch Farming Simulator 25.
Enable the mod.
Change the key binding if desired.
Enjoy!

Please Note: This mod changes the game’s transmission mode only. It does not modify vehicle transmissions. Some vehicles with automatic transmissions may not fully support Manual + Clutch due to how they are configured in Farming Simulator 25. This is a game/vehicle limitation, not a limitation of this mod.
