This is my first attempt to editing an existing map and turning it into an Ocean Map, where you have to fish your way to earn the first bits of money and raise the terrain to start you rag to riches adventure.
The Original map is made by KorriganSan called Flat Map, I only changed the position of spawn, the shop and added a waterplane to it so everything is ocean.

while it is a little bit of work you can simply adjust your starting money to 165,000 and buy the area you start on. This will allow you to build and expand the land (you cannot raise land from see floor you have to expand existing island). Then as you go you buy more area and expand into it. You cannot expand the island until you own the land and cannot expand into new area until you own that two. I tested it with unlimited money and was able to fill in the map once everything was bought. I just wish you started closer to the middle rather then off in the corner.
I was also unable to expand the main island after purchasing
for me it doesent even show up in game,i came here looking for a map like this after i seen a cool youtube video and whanted to try it my self,,
Every spot you try to raise land on says restricted area!
So I just tried this map & it wont let me raise the land anywhere. Even if I purchase the land which should be removed. You shouldn’t have to purchase land on this map. Having to fish your way to $170k would be too ridiculous. I love the idea, but it needs work.
I have not tryed it yet does it come with the fishing rod?
